This is a sense-making tool that presents a variant of the Cynefin sense-making framework, but oriented toward crisis health care situations. The authors propose a variant of the CYNEFIN approach for health care using act-probe-sense-respond to resolve complex and time-critical emergency scenarios, using the differing contexts of a cardiac arrest and an evolving crisis management problem as examples.
